Hi Phil there is some really interesting stuff here, but wondered if you recorded the La Monte Young concert at the Barbican from the American Pioneers series-I was there, and would love to hear that!

Sorry to dissapoint you, but I wasn't at that performance. But still to come from American Pioneers I have the Terry Riley concert of 23 October. In C ran for a bit over an hour so unfortunately I ran out of tape before the end.

That would be fantastic,I am a big Riley fan!!That would be the one including members of Pulp?

That's the one. I'm working on it now so should be posting it in the next day or so. I remember there were a few disappointed punters who I think were expecting some sort of Pulp gig. Somewhere I also have another rendition of In C by Bang on a Can

Fantastic,I would really love to hear that!I think its really good that there is that acceptance by some experimental musicians that there work has filtered down through pop artists(like Riley has thru Eno,Roxy)-it was also good to see La Monte interviewed in a serious context at The Barbican dressed in biker apparrel!
